What a great turnout on such a dreary day for our All Pro Dads Breakfast! Second and third grade students enjoyed donuts with their dads as Mr. Froggatt delivered a program on dependability. We want to thank our BES dads for coming out in the pouring rain and making this event a success!

LCSS will host a free parent training next Wednesday, January 22, about "Ending the Silence" ~ "Do you have questions about children's mental health?" presented by NAMI ~ National Alliance on Mental Health.

We are just one week away! Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM for a community-wide Thanksgiving Lunch at Lumpkin County High School. RSVP are appreciated but not required. Kudos to our staff and students for their excellent work today as BES tested out our new security system! We had a great drill and everyone did an awesome job participating. We had several substitutes in the building today and we received multiple comments from them on how well behaved and attentive our kids were! We are proud of you!

Just a reminder about tomorrow's Pioneer RESA Facebook Live event, "A Parent's Guide To Raising Digital Natives".

We would like to give a huge shout out to our PFO Board and the other parent volunteers that put their talents and time to good use to create a fantastic Fall Festival. The children and families had such a great time. Thank you for donating a great deal of time, sweat, and talent to this event.
