Congratulations to Cal Faulkner for being named Player of the Week! During the Lumpkin-Dawson game, Cal had an interception that he ran back for a touchdown along with 3 receptions on his offense game. Congratulations Cal! Go Indians!


Our LC Football Players were on hand at LCES this morning to hold doors, give high fives, and read to the students! We aren’t sure who had a better time…the high schoolers or the elementary schoolers?!

LCHS JROTC Cadets set the example for selfless service last week! The JROTC Cadets set out Memorial Markers from Lake Zwerner up to the Walmart intersection. These markers are in memory of the Lumpkin County Veterans. LCHS is proud of the community support demonstrated by these young leaders! Good job Curahee Battalion!

Teaching As A Profession students spent the day at UNG Dahlonega with the College of Education Ambassador program. TAP students toured campus, met with COE Professors and Admissions to have a first hand look at college life.

Coach Howell’s Forensics class tested their crime scene skills with a blood spatter lab. Students made predictions of how the shape of the blood spatter helps solve key details of a crime scene. Students created and compared passive blood drops at different heights.





Thanks to an incredible grant, LCHS Art students were afforded an opportunity to visit the High Museum this week.
