The LCHS Mock Trial team competed in District Trials on March 2nd at the UGA Law School in Athens. Outstanding Attorney Awards went to Kayleigh Dyer and Maxwell Charriez. Outstanding Witness Awards went to Leah Basso, Layla Rose Mellius-Paddick, and Caroline Schmid. CONGRATULATIONS to an amazing group of students!
Print Shop is ready to start taking orders for 2024 Senior Banners/Yard Signs. Yard Signs are $20 each- BANNER DESIGNS $75 until April 12, 2024; $85 After April 12, 2024. A proof will be sent out via parent email 48 hours before any printing for any adjustments. Parents will need to confirm proof and provide payment before the sign will be printed. LCHS would like to congratulate our Young Georgia Author winners for 2024. Each of the writings were fantastic which I am sure made it difficult for our judges. These district winners have been sent to Pioneer RESA for the RESA competition. We hope to have a RESA winner who will then go on to represent us at the state level.

Mrs. Swift and Coach Estenson’s classes were busy with labs this week. Their biology classes created models of mitosis using Oreos and sprinkles. Their environmental science class compared r and k reproductive strategists by blowing bubbles and working to keep them alive as long as possible. It was a good week in science
