Lumpkin County High School Track represented the school well at the Gilmer Track Meet. The boys and girls teams placed 1st against Gilmer, Pickens, and Dawson High Schools!

These students interviewed last weekend for the GHP summer residential program that brings together sophomores and juniors from across the state in various academic and artistic fields and will hear back soon if they have been selected for this prestigious program!

Dr. A's Allied Health Medicine class taught LCMS students hygiene, wound care, human anatomy, vital signs, and how to fill out paperwork for a doctor's appointment. Everyone had fun with healthcare!
LCHS went to West Forsyth for a time trial meet. They competed against West Forsyth and Denmark High School, both 6A division, and had some great performances!

Ms. Hill’s 9th grade classes write essays and make Valentines in the BBWC!
The Distance Runners from Lumpkin County track went to Marietta High School and competed against 35 teams. Everyone ran well in the drizzling rain and we had several PR's broken.
Highlights:
Keli George ran a great race in the 1600 with a time of 5:38;
Evan Good ran his PR in the 1600 with a time of 5:06;
Jackson Marling also ran his fastest in the 1600 posting a 5:08;
Witt Windham had a great race in the 3200, setting his PR ar 9:48;
Wyattt Windham placed 2nd in the 3200 with a PR of 9:04.

Visual art and band students collaborated today. While the band was practicing for an upcoming concert art students practiced their gesture drawing skills.
