LCHS would like to WELCOME BACK all our students! Yesterday staff from around the district met at LCHS to make healthy cooking and eating a priority for this year! Thank you Ms. McPherson for helping all of us kick off this semester with the right mindset! Today was a HUGE success as teachers welcomed back all of our students with the common goal of making learning a top priority for the remaining portion of this school year! It was a GREAT DAY to be an INDIAN!

LCHS would like to thank Jethro's Coffee Shop, the Community Helping Place Thrift Store, The Inn at Blackberry Hill, LCSS Central Office, and the Community Helping Place Free Clinic for partnering with our GAA program to provide community based vocational training! Not only did our students love the opportunity to learn valuable employability skills, they also loved being mentored and supported by these businesses! Thank you!

For the fifth year in a row, LCHS Student Council adopted a family for Christmas.   LCHS Student Council officers donated money which was matched by student council fundraisers throughout the year This is just one of the amazing ways our student council gives back to the students and the community every year! JROTC, in collaboration with the Military Officer's Association of America (MOAA), the American Legion, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), packed Christmas Items last Wednesday evening for Operation VA Christmas. These items will be delivered to Veterans who are in VA hospitals and would not otherwise have a Christmas. Merry Christmas from JROTC!
