Friday was Community Helpers Day for our Kindergarten! Thank you for all our hard-working Community Helpers for making this a memorable day for our students!

Friday will be purple and gold day to celebrate all of our students and the high school team that will be in playoffs this weekend.

BES was recently named to the Georgia Department of Education's Math Leaders List for 2024. A total of 624 K-12 schools across the state of Georgia received this award. To be eligible students must improve by15% or higher in the categories of proficient and distinguished as compared to the 2022-23 Georgia Milestones scores. Last year's 5th graders at BES had a 16.55% growth. We are very proud of this accomplishment and our amazing teachers that work hard everyday to help our students become proficient in math.

Reminder: John Megel Chevrolet will have several brand new cars at BES on October 25, the day of the Fun Run event, for adults to test drive. John Megel will be donating $25 for each test drive, up to a maximum of $500, to BES. The test drive event will be located on the blacktop behind the lunchroom.
