LCHS still remembers the tragic loss of life 18 years ago. A moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. and the lowering of our flag to half-staff by JROTC in an effort to honor all the lives lost on 9-11-01.




The 3rd Annual LCHS Baseball Dugout Club Golf Tournament Fundraiser is Sunday, October 27th at Achasta Golf Course. This is the largest fundraiser to support LC Baseball teams during the upcoming 2020 season! Become a Corporate and/or Hole Sponsor and register to play today!


Mrs. Kim’s ELA classes played a narrative improv game created and led by Gabriel Chaves. This cooperative learning activity helped students refine their narrative writing skills.





Ms. Westafer's classes work to collect trace evidence from multiple locations as they determine the primary “crime scene” in their murder mystery lab. They practiced CSI skills including evidence collection and chain of custody - Professional skills in action!




The Board of Education approved the School Calendar for 2020-2021 at last evening's meeting. This calendar was the PURPLE calendar for those of you who cast your vote.


Lumpkin Youth Leadership (LYL) is a program designed to enhance, inspire, and empower LCHS students to develop leadership skills and explore career opportunities within our community.
The 2019-2020 LYL is made up of 25 members. Today their focus within our community is discovering:
1. What is Leadership?
2. What are my Leadership strengths?
3. How do I get Leadership experience?

FBLA kicked off the start of another exciting year with their annual PANCAKE breakfast this morning! FBLA's 13 officers started cooking at 6:15 this morning as they prepared for some fabulous food, fellowship and fun with their 82 members.
