OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM

Lumpkin County 21st Century Community Learning Center (LCCLC) is an elementary school after school program that serves 2nd-5th graders and their families. Second-Fifth grade students are eligible for 21st CCLC based on academic and/or economic needs. Students are referred to the after school program based upon standardized test scores and teacher recommendations.

Registration is open for the 2018-2019 school year. 

The goals of the LCCLC are to increase math and reading achievement and provide services to families.

2nd – 5th Grade STUDENTS are INVITED to attend the Blackburn Elementary 21st CCLC After School program!

Beginning Date: Monday, August 27, 2018

Days and Hours: Monday – Thursday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Cost: NO COST

Daily Schedule:         
                               3:00 – 3:30 Homework and a Free Snack and Drink                                   
                               3:30 – 4:10 Academic A “First in Math” Online Math or Reading                                   
                               4:10 – 4:55 Academic B “Raz Kids” online Reading or Math                                   
                               5:00 – 6:00 Enrichment time focusing on STEM, P.E.,
                                                    ART, and Community Activities

Teacher to Student Ratio: 1:10

Staff: Certified Teachers and College Students 

Transportation Home: Yes, with a bus drop off OR Parent Pick-Up

Goal:  To increase math and reading achievement and provide services to families!
